English Paper Piecing - Hexagons



Learn how to prepare hexagons including the basics of fussy cutting using thread or glue basting. This technique can be used in the Grandmother's Flower Garden project or appliqued for a quicker project.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Needle Threading Basic stitching (whip stitch)
Materials Included: Hexagon papers, thread and needle
Requirements: Optional: Needle and Thread Coordinating scraps (class will have a selection of precut hexagons but you can also cut your own using the shop's Accuquilt) Fabric Glue stick Magnetic pin Fabric Scissors or small rotary cutter and small mat
