February Newsletter
Here's what's going on at the shop this month.
Handpiecing Meetup - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 10:30 am. Bring your hand quilting, cross stitch, EPP, or anything that doesn't need a sewing machine to stich and enjoy coffee or tea while meeting some new friends.
Yarn Club - 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 10:30am. A time for knitting and crochet with coffee and tea provided. We've had a blast comparing what we're working on and meeting new people. Please join us!

Fabric
Check out our selection of new fabric!
We've received many new wideback bolts - these 108" wide fabrics make finishing your quilt a breeze since you don't need to piece multiple pieces of fabric for a backing. See this blog entry from Maple Leaf Quilting Company for some other uses:

There will be several new lines coming to the shop in February, I'll be hosting a weekly Facebook Live to show what has been received in the shop that week. Catch it live or on replay!

Notions
We are always getting new notions in the shop.
My Notion of the Month is the "Add-A-Quarter" ruler which makes completing a foundational paper piecing block (like this Ariel from the Princess Parade Quilt by LoReyMe). The raised edge butts up to the line that needs to be trimed and adds a quarter inch when you trim using a rotary blade.

SHOUT OUT TO...
Denise Helms attended one of the January Brimfield Block classes and pieced this lovely quilt. She picked different focus colorways for each block to finish with a panorama of color with the gorgeous piano key border. Well Done Denise!
